Location: Riverview Park, Woodbine Lodge
Course: Enjoy the scenic wooded area and river course at Riverview Park.
Divisions: 9 & Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over
Awards: First Overall Male & Female (Runner & Walker) Medals to 1st, 2nd, 3rd place M & F in each age group. Chip Timing

Register by September 20th for discounted rates!

Registration for the run/walk is $20 per individual, and $10 for youth 14 and under for all registrations received or postmarked by Sept 20th. After Sept 20th, registration is $25 per individual, and $15 for youth. Shirts and goody bags are guaranteed for the first 500 registrants only. Make checks payable to LECO Corporation. Registrations will be accepted the morning of the race beginning from 7:30 to 8:15 am. Participants can pick up their race packets at Riverview Park's Woodbine Lodge on Friday, October 9th from 3 pm to 6 pm OR on the day of the race beginning at 7:30 am.

Silent Auction Information

All community members are invited to attend the Fit 4 Fall 5K Silent Auction. Bidding will open at 7:30 am (prior to the race start) and conclude with last-call bidding at 10:15 am. The funds raised through the silent auction will be divided equally between this year’s three selected charities. Credit cards will be accepted for all silent auction purchases.

Some of the items in this year's silent auction will include: a recliner from Schroeder Furniture, a growler and gift card to Tapistry Brewing, massage gift cards for Lake Michigan Chiropractic, a one night stay at the Boulevard Inn, and gift cards to the Ideal Place and Grand Mere Inn.

Hospice at Home

Hospice at Home provides Southwest Michigan residents facing serious illnesses and their families with a range of holistic programs to meet their emotional, social, and spiritual care needs. Services include palliative care to help manage symptoms of life-limiting illnesses, hospice care for those in the end stages of a serious illness and their loved ones, and bereavement support to help family members through the grief process.

Sonya Ansari Autism Learning Center in Southwest Michigan

The Autism Learning Center in Southwest Michigan offers an individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program, as well as behavior consultation, social skills, classes, and recreation services. The Center is housed in the education wing of the First Congregational Church in St. Joseph. Highly-trained staff work one-on-one with each child, using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.

Wounded Warrior Project

The mission of the Wounded Warrior Project is to honor and empower Wounded Warriors by raising awareness and enlisting the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members, to help injured servicemen and women aid and assist each other, and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs. Now in its tenth year, WWP is a national, nonpartisan organization.

Volunteer Information

It takes many volunteers before, during, and after the race to make this a successful event. The Fit 4 Fall 5K committee is now recruiting volunteers to help with this year’s race! All volunteers will receive a free cotton T-shirt for their participation.

To volunteer, please fill out the form below and submit it no later than September 17th, 2015. Please include your T-shirt size, and let us know if you are planning on running/walking in the race as well so we can schedule appropriately. Once the form is submitted, it will be reviewed and you will be contacted via email as soon as possible. In order to become a volunteer you must be at least 16 years old.
